Cost for Students as of Summer 2025 - (To be shared with students)

CREDIT & NON-CREDIT LESSONS (Senior Discounts are not shown here)

Classes must be taught at ECC. Students 16 and over can earn college credit; 15 and under must register for non-credit.  Out-of-district students will pay double tuition for MUS, and should consider taking CSX.  There is a $6 fee added if a student is not registered in another course.

• MUS 140/240 – Cost $402 + $6.00 lab fee ($408) for Sixteen 30 min lessons or 8 hours - Credit and Audit

• CSX 140 - Cost $402 for Sixteen 30 min lessons or 8 hours. No lab fee.

 

• MUS 141/241 – Cost $804.00 + $6.00 lab fee ($810.00)  for Sixteen 60 min lessons or 16 hours - Credit and Audit

• CSX 141 - Cost $804.00 for Sixteen 60 min lessons or 16 hours. No lab fee.

 

• CSX 142 Half Sessions cost $201 for Eight 30 min lessons or 4 hours, and must be taught at ECC. No lab fee.

Private Instructor Pay Rates: 2025 - (Not to be shared with students)

• CSX 142 Half session (8 half hour lessons - 4 hours) - YOUR PAY is $227.56/student (Student pays ECC $201)

• CSX/MUS 140/240 (16 half hour lessons - 8 hours) - YOUR PAY is $455.12/student (Student pays ECC $402)

• MUS 141/241 (16 hour lessons - 16 hours) - YOUR PAY is $910.24/student (Student pays ECC $804)
